HOW THE IMLC BENEFITS YOU

One of the top benefits of licensing through the IMLC is that you can apply for multiple medical licenses at once without having to contact each individual state board around the country for which you are applying. Rather than burdening yourself by having to navigate the various rules and regulations set forth by each state, you are free to devote more time to your clinical practice and patient care.

HOW DOES THE IMLC WORK?

Many physicians are eligible to apply for medical licensure through the IMLC, but some are not. You are only eligible to apply for additional licenses through the IMLC if your primary residence is in a member state AND you currently hold a medical license in that state. You need at least one current medical license in order to be eligible to apply for more through the IMLC. The IMLC considers your primary state as your state of principal licensure (SPL).
